The SUMS team is grateful for our customers’ commitment to advancing sustainability using our smart utility solutions. 2024 was action-packed for SUMS with an expanding member base, growing team and new product and service offerings.
In the year gone, the SUMS team won the Best Utility Management Service Provider Award hosted by APAC Insider, Australian Enterprise Awards 2024. The award recognises key players driving innovation across various sectors that comprise Australia’s dynamic business market. Client feedback and collaboration inspire us to evolve, so many thanks to our partnerships and customers who make this award achievable.
SUMS also reached a new milestone of over 4 billion data points amassed and monitored across our member community. As many of our clients attest, these utility data points and insights add up to millions of resource and cost savings, operational improvements, and sustainability achievements that would have otherwise been unknown or impossible without reliable, accurate, timely data SUMS solutions provide. SUMS started working closely with Wattwatchers – Digital Energy, which provides building owners and facility managers with a powerful, out-of-the-box electricity solution. By incorporating Wattwatchers’ electricity submetering solution we are able to offer our clients even greater visibility and control of their asset performance. Learn more about our partnership.
Most recently, we introduced the SUMS LoRa VPN, a multi-radio logger system offering a powerful, flexible and affordable solution for remote monitoring and automatic meter reading (AMR) of utility meters. This innovative solution is ideal for high-rise residential, shopping centres, large-scale industrial, commercial offices and multi-tenanted business parks. The SUMS LoRa VPN solution is designed to help businesses gather reliable, accurate and timely utility data for Sustainability / Net Zero goals, GRESB reporting and NABERS ratings.
